That is a good idea but that is a known tactic so the cops here fly over corn fields with their IR cameras looking for pot....

We get buzzed by the planes 2 to 3 times a year with a helicopter flyover in the fall. Neighbor was busted growing in his dads corn feild 10 years ago and they've been vigilant since. They are also looking for meth camps.

Planting weed on someone elses property around here will get you shot. No shit.
Not trying to be a prick or killjoy, but you need to rethink it.

One of two things is going to happen,
they will let you grow it all year long, then take your shit, shooting you if need be in the process.
If not the type to shoot you then the Drug Task Force will be notified and set up a video sting.

The farmer is not trying to be an ass or a Narc, it's really the only options left to them to keep them from losing their farm.
Think the other side of the equasion, if someone came over and jeopardized the welfare of someone you loved and didn't deserve it, what actions would you do?

My particular situation is heavily biased on this question.
My FIL and MIL are farmers.
They get up and work every day and have all there life. Good old fashioned meiger folk. They have been more than generous with there love and a little piece of land, to allow me to have a little security for my family. Something I can't repay.

So the farmer may not be your problem, it could be his forever indebted,, out of work, well meaning, highly medicated, son in law that shoots your ass and takes your shit. :gun smiley:

Just something to think about.

I have grown in corn fields a few times with GREAT results BUT had to stop because we now have planes that check the corn fields out for growers.I now like to find creeks to walk down and find good spots off them to grow Posted Image

Well i have Mother plants that are keep back all winter. And can have clones ready to plant at any time i am ready to do some. But if you are going to plant in corn you need to plant at the right time. That right time is going to be when the farmer dose his last spray for weeds. After that he will not be back in his corn feild untill he harvest the corn. You will have to keep your eye out on the feild you plan to put some. When you notice the weeds around the out side of the corn all goes dead then you no it is ready to plant.

Yes you are right NHMI. But they are looking for big patches not just 1 or 3 plants. In my state were i live they can only afford to fly 2 times a year in every county. And they dont play with the small stuff. There are people here that i know that plant 1500 plant patches lol. And they fly only after the corn turns brown so it is easyer to find. So that is why we plant early bred skunk that finishes in time to miss all the fire works.

Cornfields are a very common way to grow around here, just be smart about it. Here's a question, where would be the best spot to put plants in a corn field? On the southern-most facing edge or in towards the middle more for stealth?
