noob noob noob noob

i came home to a fc covered in a layer of spores.

so i picked everything there was.

the edges of the caps are flipped up and the tops are darker brown than others.

are these ones still ok to eat?
i don't mean to sound stupid, but can they be too "old" to eat?
how bout if they dropped their spores?

ALSO, how do i clean up my FC and pearlite?

thanks everyone

hahah yeah man those are ok too eat no worries there. as for the perlite u could always scoop the top layer and put it in a strainer and wash is maybe pore some peroxide on it after u wash it and then u should be good to go. (ive let spores just stay but its not the best practice just gotta find out wat works for u)

they'll swell up again, but they continue to get smaller as they get eaten up. ;)

Anyway, I think everyone said everything that needed to be...except Congrats on your grow and good luck in the future!!

So, did u get any prints or do u need help on figuring that out? I just wait for it to break the veil and get my exacto knife to cut it off, as close as I can without touching the gills. I stick a safety pin thru the top just enuff to where it will hang on to it. Just wait 4 the veil to break and ensure that it is dropping by the color of the veil remnants attached to the stem. Be really clean during this process. I put mine on aluminum foil and leave for 24 hrs then seal in little baggies. I, also, clean everything with 91% alcohol. Hope this helps. Peace and pins.

tightrope- i'm not printing these.
i don;t know what strain it is.
the print i used had the label wiped off....
so i was told it's not a good idea to introduce a mystery strain to the forum.
but thanks for the tip!

If you like the strain, you should at least make a print for yourself.
