if there's white stuff on a PF cake that recedes when you spray it with h2o2 is it likely cob web? There is some MYC on it and the h2o2 had no effect on that part but the others it almost looks like the actual cake with nothing on it where it was sprayed ???

Myc is a living thing, it reacts to stimulus just like any other mold or fungus. However, cobweb can usually be distinguished easily due to the fact that it is gray, whereas myc is white as pearly teeth from an Aquafresh commercial.

i've never seen myc shrink and recede QUICKLY......if might not be cobweb, but its not myc. if its moving quickly. not to freak you out, but that could just be trich that hasn't turned yet.....i would probablly isolate that immediately from my other grows. good luck.

it may be cobweb or trich IME. ive had cobweb go away with treatment only to have trich come roaring back in its place! keep an eye and isolate that polyculture!
